Oscar Jessica Chastain’s winner is a straightness once again to sell her exquisite Manhattan cooperative against Carnegie Hall.
The four bedroom house and 3.5 bathrooms in the very coveted Osborne-one of the first luxury apartment buildings in the United States, once, the legendary composer Leonard Bernstein. Chastain, 48, bought the historic unit for $ 5.1 million in 2015. The Acresa “Zero Dark Thirty” tried to sell last May for $ 7.45 million before removing the list in February.
Now it is back in the market for about $ 6.49 million, according to a Streetsy list update Monday night.
The 3,200 square feet residence was previously presented in Digest Architectural and renewed by AD100 Designers Carrier and Company. Modern comforts and a palette of fresh colors contrast with restored details of the beginning of the century, including oak parquet floors, crown moldings and carnated doornays.
The house remains in the same state that was when the photos listed for the last time in 2024, when a different luxury broker represented it. Two formal living rooms have mahogany panels, 14 -foot roofs and a laurel window with Tiffany Studio Created Glass Transoms.
The main bedroom includes a copper bathtub and a wall of reflected cabinets. He also enjoys one of the five wood chimneys.
The L -shaped plant plane also includes secondary rooms and a library.
Chastain is not the first famous artist to go through the house’s mahogany halls. Chastain bought the house in 2015 to another composer, Adam Guettel, the grandson of the composer of “The Sound of Music” Richard Rodgers.
Chastain moved to Osborne after his box office successes in “Zero Dark Thirty” in 2012 and “Interstellar” in 2014. She would win an academy prize for the best accent for her work in the 2022 movie “The Eyes of Tammy Faye”.
Carl Gambino de Compass is now repeating the list. The broker rejected the request for comments from the publication.
It is not clear why the acresa of the “Molly game” is on the way, but maybe he had too many encounter with the alleged ghosts pursued by the rooms of the 140 -year -old building.
The Osborne, similar to Dakota, is an iconic and exclusive cooperative of gold. The city center building is widely considered one of the most beautiful apartment buildings on 57th Street. Having a house there includes the advantages of a 24/7 goalkeeper, a landscape roof terrace and a living resident manager.
