Cate Blanchett says she is ‘serious about giving up acting’

Cate Blanchett could be leaving Hollywood sooner rather than later.

The “Black Bag” actress, 55, discussed her next career movements in an interview with Radio Times that will be launched on Sunday, April 20. He insisted that it is “serious” about leaving the performance because there are “many things” in it.

“My family puts my eyes blank every time I say it, but I say it seriously,” Blanchett said, according to the standard. “They seriously give me the performance. [There are] Many things I want to do with my life. “

Blanchett has been married to her husband, the Australian playwright and screenwriter Andrew Upton, 59, since 1997. The couple shares three children, Dashiell, Roman and Ignatius, and a daughter, Edith.

While the actress of “Lord of the Rings” has won two Oscar and has nominated Bone for six more, she revealed that she is not crazy for being a celebrity and all the aspects that implies being famous.

“I think there is ageism and sexism in each industry,” he added. “I only think we are a very public industry.”
