West Virginia high school basketball player faces felony charges for repeated fouls, including breaking competitor’s nose

An athlete of the high school of West Virginia faces positions of serious crimes for adults after allegedly rubbing an opponent in the face and breaks the duration of the nose a basketball game, according to the newly disturbed judicial documents.

Gage Ketterman, a 18 -year -old student and basketball player in Harman School, was arrested last Monday for the alleged game time attack.

The state police of Virginia Occidental was notified of the assault on February 27 after the mother of the injured student reported the injury, the few hours of the student, a few hours after the game between Union High School and Harman School.

Gage Ketterman, 18, faces charges for serious crimes as an adult for breaking the nose of an opponent turning a basketball game.

The woman said her son was “codified in the face” by Ketterman. According to the reports, the victim’s nose was bleeding “profusely” for more than four hours and had to be tasks for a nearby hospital, according to the judicial documents obtained by Wboy.

The video video images, reviewed by the State Police, corroborated the mother’s claims.

The authorities also pointed out that in the video, Ketterman can be seen “cleaning some of the elbow that had just solved [the Union player]. “

The officers concluded that Ketterman’s actions seemed “intentional and criminals[ly] In malicious nature. “

Because Ketterman was 18 at the time of the incident, he will be accused as an adult, the police said. A malicious assault order was issued and two for a malicious assault attempt.

Ketterman was arrested last Monday and released the same day after publishing a bonus of $ 12,500, according to the System of the Magistrate Court of Western Virginia.

His next date in the Court is scheduled for May 22.
