Kyren Lacy, a former 24 -year -old open receiver from Louisiana State University (LSU), has died tragical in Houston, Texas, less than two weeks before the NFL draft.
Lcy’s death occurs in the midst of serious legal challenges voting from a car accident that resulted in the death of a 78 -year -old man named Herman Hall, in which the receiver was involved in December 2024.
Lacy, scheduled to inform against a large jury on April 14, had initially released in a $ 151,000 union.
Detroit Lions’s corner, Amik Robertson, a Lcy friend of his shared hometown of Thibodaux, Louisiana, shared his final messages with Lacey before his death.
“I need you to trust the process and put it in the hands of God,” Robertson wrote to Lacy on January 11, shortly after the LSU season ended and one day after the Louisian State Police issued an order of judgment for Lcy. “I know that this is a difficult time, but my high faith. I don’t know what happens because I don’t want to get into that. But if you’re wrong, everyone runs. Everything is a learning process. Keep the right faith. Ib.”
Lacy replied: “Everyone loves brother!” With an emoji heart.
His last exchange shown in the publication saw Lacy tell Robertson: “He appreciates what brother he needed to hear that! They felt!”
Robertson said “You know,” abbreviated for “YK it”, with a handshake emoji.
Lacy began his university career with the Louisiana Ragin ‘Cajuns before transferring the transfer ring to LSU in 2022.
Around three seasons with the Tigers, he accumulated 112 receptions, 1,692 yards and 16 touchdowns.
In its last year, Lacy led the team with nine touchdown receptions, totaling 58 trapped for 866 yards.
Research on the accident of December 2024 is still ongoing.
Louisiana State Police continues to examine the circumstances surrounding the accident and the subsequent actions of Lacy. Legal procedures will be processed as scheduled, despite Lcy’s adjustment.
