UC, CSU must stand up
For foreign students

Re: “Students protest as Campus of the University of California report revoked visas for about 50 international students” (April 9).

Putting international students at risk of deportation due to revoked visas has been devastating. These students have sought legal education and contributed thousands to their universities, only for their administrations to provide difficult times of support. They have a slow bone with their warm statements and a minimum rejection against Donald Trump’s attack against students.

We need to demand more of these UC regarding the right of their students to freedom of expression, education and security in the campus, a special vulnerable population.

By pressing the foreign ministers such as Howard Gillman of UC Irvine and Julio Frenk de UCLA, these students will receive security. Students deserve this after obtaining a visa, being accepted in competitive schools, paying a high enrollment and dedicating hours to their education.

We continually press the administrations of UC and CSU to protect, defend and lift their immigrant students. His education is also important.

We must raise our
Voices to oppose Trump

Vox Populi It is Latin for the “voice of the people.” It is clear that the voice of the people, that is, the collective resistance, “setback”, is the only thing that will stop the Avenda of Revenge of Donald Trump.

As clearly demonstrated, there have been daily demonstrations and protests against their policies since its inauguration. The last example is April 5 throughout the country, not violent, the manifestations of “hands outside” that occurred in the 50 states and attracted millions of Americans. We, the people, are the only ones that can be our democracy, not any divine intervention, certainly not invertebrate republicans in Congress, or the Democrats without a solid message.

Now we live under a dictator according to its much of the executive orders. We, people, need to have courage, strength and resistance to maintain resistance without stopping if we want to live continuously in a free and selfish country.

Trump dishonors
Soldiers Memory

In the midst of the “release day” of President Trump, the collapse of the $ 6 billion stock market of $ 6, the dismissal of intelligence personnel at the request of a right -wing activist and a commercial application to discuss, another article escaped from the holders.

After a search for days, the bodies of four army military disappeared in an NATO training exercise were recovered in Lithuania. As their Oyas passed through the Lithuanian capital, the streets were full of civilians, a number crying, with American and Lithuanian flags. Lithuanian troops greeted our soldiers while praying their last trip home.

Despite the agitation created by the Trump administration with European allies, respect remains for the United States and the sacrifices of our military.

And where was President Trump for the transfer of the coffins covered with flag? He chose to join a LIV golf tournament supported by Saudi, showing a very different son of commitment.

The voter identification rules are
Ineffective, unnecessary

Re: “Save Act claims to solve a big problem that does not exist” (page A8, April 6).

The voting identification laws that are promulgated in many states are so unnecessary. We already have an identification in each vote. Your signature is called.

The firm is verified by the voter registrar. When people register to vote, they swore that they are citizens, they live in their direction and are the right age. The firm legalizes the document.

Why do we need more identification laws? Laws will not make people more reliable.
